Recording and editing 360-degree audio has never been so easy. The H3-VR recorder from Zoom has everything needed for the job and comes with four built-in microphones that create a complete audio image of any surrounding: front, back, above, below and sideways. After you're done recording, you can select the output format to determine how the recordings are arranged in the sound image. Ambisonics and Binaural are the ideal 3D audio formats for headphones, while 5.1 surround is great for surround sound speaker systems. Naturally, 'regular' stereo sound is an option as well.

Video Integration

The Zoom H3-VR also supports seamless video integration. Via the line-out, sound can be sent directly to your camera and in the right format and, if needed, the H3-VR can even be used upside-down or horizontally for easier positioning next to a camera. Also, since we're no longer living in a world where you spent months on end editing your video before you upload it, Zoom have blessed the H3-VR with a USB port for easy live-streaming.
